When you create an account, we collect your email address, name, and professional information (classification, hourly rate, home state, crew name). When you use the app, we collect GPS coordinates during clock-in/out events, shift duration data, ticket information, incident reports, and expense records.
Your data is used to provide storm operations management services: tracking hours, generating timecards, calculating earnings, providing storm threat intelligence, and facilitating crew coordination. GPS data is collected only during active clock-in events and is used for timecard verification and crew location tracking.
All data is stored securely on Supabase (backed by AWS infrastructure) with row-level security policies. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties except as required by law or as necessary to provide our services (e.g., Stripe for payment processing).
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers, bank account details, or other payment credentials on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy governs the handling of your payment information.
Location data is collected only when you explicitly clock in or submit a ticket/incident report. We do not track your location continuously or when you are not actively using the clock-in feature. GPS coordinates are attached to timecards for verification purposes and may be visible to your contractor and incident command.
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping and regulatory compliance purposes. Storm operational data may be retained longer for historical analysis and restoration prediction accuracy.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. You may also request data export at any time.
By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that your Storm Card ranking, leaderboard position, and performance metrics are based solely on your actual logged hours, earnings, and storm participation data. Rankings reflect real operational performance. Any unsatisfactory scores, low rankings, or unfavorable Storm Card metrics are a direct result of your own performance history and storm selection decisions, and are not the responsibility, fault, or liability of Overwatch Fieldworks. Overwatch does not influence, manipulate, or guarantee rankings. All ranking data is derived from GPS-verified timecards and crew-submitted records.
